Learn More About Appointments

Tennessee Women's Care is grateful for the opportunity to serve you.  As healthcare providers in the Middle Tennessee area, we offer over a dozen service locations in Nashville and surrounding areas to meet your needs.  We also have a variety of appointment times to meet the specific needs of your local area.

Scheduling an Appointment:

You can schedule an appointment by contacting any of our offices directly.  Our locations and phone numbers are listed by physician on this website for your convenience.  Our physicians participate with a wide range of insurance plans.  Please speak to the office staff when scheduling your appointment to determine the level of coverage based on your specific insurance policy.

New and Established Patients:

New patients will be asked to complete necessary forms and provide Personal Health Information including medical, insurance, and demographic information.  Established patients will be asked to update insurance and demographic information with each visit.  Both new and established patients please bring your current insurance card and any applicable co-pays that are associated with your health insurance plan.

Time and Your Appointment:

We realize that your time is valuable.  We strive to see you as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible and ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete any necessary forms or to update your Personal Health Information.  Because we value your time and dislike long waiting periods, we try to avoid any service delays.  There are times however that a delay may occur due to another patient’s serious medical condition or emergency.  Our staff will do their best to keep you informed of any such delay.  If you find that timing becomes a concern, please feel free to work with our staff to reschedule your appointment or find an alternative solution to your specific healthcare needs.  If such an issue arises, we appreciate your understanding and support as we care for another patient’s critical or emergency medical needs.

Medical Records:

If you are transferring care from another healthcare provider or being referred to us from your Primary Care Provider, we will need a copy of your medical records.  You may bring in copies of your records or fill out a Medical Records Release form that we will send on your behalf to your other healthcare providers.

Cancelling an Appointment:

If you decide to cancel your appointment, please call the physician’s office as soon as possible.  We appreciate your support for this early notification and allowing another patient in need to take your place.
